General Returns Policy

The following general returns policy is applicable to all items sold on Amazon.in. All items with the logo on the product detail page are Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA). All in-FBA items are seller fulfilled.

1. In general, an item may be eligible for return within the applicable return window if it fulfills one or more of the following conditions:
   • Was delivered in a physically damaged condition
   • Has missing parts or accessories
   • Is different from what was ordered
   • Is different from its description on the product detail page on Amazon.in
   Products marked as "non-returnable" on the product detail page cannot be returned. 
2. All items must be returned in their original condition, with price tags intact, user manual, warranty cards, original accessories and in the original manufacturer’s box/packaging as delivered to you. Refer to instructions to return items against each category. We may reject the return pickup if the items are not returned according to the policy mentioned against each category.
3. Only Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) items may be eligible for replacement. For more details, please refer.
4. If you wish to return an electronic device that stores any personal information, please ensure that you have removed all such personal information from the device prior to returning. Amazon shall not be liable in any manner for any misuse or usage of such information."
5. In some cases, items may not be eligible for return, including cases of buyer's remorse such as incorrect model or color of product ordered or incorrect product ordered.

Instant Refunds & Refund Without Return

In some cases, you may be offered an "Instant refund" option to allow you to use your refund without waiting for your return to process. Instant Refunds are either issued to your credit card or as an Amazon.com Gift Card balance. Refunds issued to card issuers will require an additional 3-5 business days processing time by those institutions. You'll still need to return your items within 30 days.

Return a Gift

The Online Returns Center allows gift recipients to return items marked as a gift at the time of purchase. The type of refund or credit you receive depends on how the gift was purchased and how it's returned. Gift recipients won't be eligible for exchanges or instant refunds.

Return a Textbook Rental

You can return a Textbook Rental through your account after the first 30 days of the rental period. If you return the textbook after the first 30 days, you won't receive a refund of the rental fee.

• To return a Textbook Rental within the first 30 days of your rental period, go to Return Items You Ordered. If the book is in the same condition as when you received it, you'll receive a full refund.
• To avoid late fees, please drop the books off with the carrier on or before the due date.

Return Kindle Books

You may be able to return books and comics that you bought from the Kindle Store for a refund. We will consider your return if we receive your request within seven days of the date of purchase.
